GOLDTOCASH TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The Money Shop (referred to herein as ''we'', ''us'', ''our'') is a trading name of Instant Cash Loans Limited of company number 2685515. Our registered office is at 6th Floor, CNA House, London EC3V 0AS and our Consumer Credit Licence Number is 334154. We are a member of National Association of Pawnbrokers.

We offer to assess and purchase your property on the terms and conditions set out below. If you decide to send us your item(s) you will be bound by the following terms and conditions:

01 If you complete the request form you warrant to us that you own the property outright, free of all charges of any kind.

02 Once you submit your request you will get an email confirmation informing you that the GOLDTOCASH PACK will be issued out to you within 3-5 working days. You will then receive the pack together with the instructions of how to complete the pack and send back. You will be asked to make a selection between Option 1 or Option 2 on completing the pack.
* Option 1: You can receive a quote for the item(s) first and once received you can opt to return an acceptance to the quote. Once your acceptance is received by us your payment will be sent within 3-5 working days.

* Option 2 : You would like to receive the quote together with the payment. Please note that you will still have 14 days from receipt of payment to return the payment if you change your mind and your item(s) will be returned to you.

03 Our nominee to act as your shipping agent for your items is Royal Mail. The Royal Mail Special Delivery Service provides compensation cover for loss or damage to your items in transit up to a value of £2500. Please see www.royalmail.com or your local Post Office for more details. You can also purchase cover against consequential loss from your local Post Office (compensation for financial loss that is separate from an item's actual market value, incurred as a consequence of delay, loss of or damage to the item). This is appropriate if, for example, you are sending item(s) which is/are difficult to replace, such as original transparencies or legal documents.

04 If you believe that you item(s) is/are of a higher value, it is your responsibility to take out your own insurance. If you choose to despatch you item(s) exceeding the value of £2500 via a pre-paid Royal Mail Special Delivery Service without arranging any additional insurance cover, you agree that you are doing this at your own risk, and that you will have no claim against us and/or the Royal Mail for any amount (subject to average) of the replacement value of any items lost, damaged or devalued in any way in the course of the Royal Mail Special Delivery Service. It is your responsibility to retain a receipt for shipping from the shipping agent.

05 If your item(s) is/are lost or damaged you will need to make a claim with the Royal Mail as soon as possible after the incident and in any case within 3 months of the date of posting. If you have bought a consequential loss cover you must make a claim for consequential loss compensation in writing within14 calendar days of the date Royal Mail accepted the item, otherwise they will not have to refund your postage fee.

06 On receiving your property we inspect the item(s) and compare the item(s) to the original description supplied by you in your application in order to confirm that they match. We value your item(s) in good faith, according to accepted industry standards and prevailing market rates. Once your item(s) have been valued we send you your quote or quote together with the payment depending on the Option you selected. If you are not satisfied with the quote/payment given by us then you have 14 days from the receipt of the quote/payment to return the payment to us or notify us that that you do not accept the quote and we will return your item(s). After 14 days have lapsed you will not be able to cancel this transaction. If you do not return the payment within 14 days of receiving the same or you do not notify us that you do not accept the quote your items may be melted down and will not be retrievable.

07 We will return the item(s) to you by the Royal Mail Special Delivery and your items will be covered for any loss or damage in transit from us to you. If you have not received your items within 5 days of us posting the items back to you, you will need to make contact with us in order for us to issue a claim with the Royal Mail for your items on your behalf. If your items are worth more than £2500 then we will ensure there is sufficient cover in place. We will not take out the consequential cover for your items and will not hold any risk for the loss of any compensation you may have had in respect of this risk. Where the items are worth more than £2,500 we will split your items into smaller envelopes to ensure they are covered for their value. Your items will be insured whilst on our property up to the maximum limit of the market price of the item(s) at the time the items were received by us.

08 We do not accept gemstones so please do not send these with your items. We do however accept diamonds.

09 Ownership of the property will pass to us once the payment is issued by us.

10 To use the GOLDTOCASH service you must be over the age of 18 and resident in UK.

11 You must act on your own behalf and not as the agent or representative for a third party.

12 Any items sent to The Money Shop found to be gold plated or fake will be returned to you via Royal Mail, we will not enter into any correspondence with regard to such items.

13 Deductions will be made to final payment for any item(s) that contain stones, clips, clasps or hinges that are not gold.

14 While we will provide you with information that we have to help you in any dispute or claim that you may have with your shipping agent, we cannot be held liable for any failure in the agent's performance of its obligations to you.
